Fall family photo season is in full swing around the Dallas area! Mini sessions are a great way to update your family photos for holiday cards or gifts for family and friends. It is the first week of October. In some ways, I can’t believe it is October, but as you all know, this has also felt like the longest year ever. October has always felt like a special month to me and even with the uncertainty coming with the rest of 2020, today I am allowing myself to be excited for the last three months of the year.

This amazing family is opening their hearts and welcoming another child into their home through adoption. Our in-home family lifestyle photography session was one of the many steps in their adoption process and our goal was to make everyone feel as natural as possible.

The best part about an in-home photo session is that everyone feels comfortable in their own environment! You have made your house into a home and your images have that extra special personal touch. During this in-home session, this sweet two-year-old had her entire family wrapped around her finger and they all loved it! I love it when the littlest one in a family is the real boss.
