This family has the best tradition! Every year on their twin boys’ birthday they schedule a family photo session to document their birthday photos. I LOVE this!! After the session, they choose their favorite family photo and print it to display in their home. That means they have an incredible memory from each year that they get to relive every day they walk past their gallery wall.
A lot of Moms wonder how often they should be taking family photos. At a minimum, you should give yourself the gift of family photos once a year! Mini sessions around the holidays give you a great chance to grab a quick holiday card photo. But don’t forget about the other milestones throughout the year! Birthday photos are a great way to capture your family’s personality and gives you a special way to celebrate. Also, don’t forget about milestones like your baby’s first steps or maternity photos before a new baby joins the family.

These birthday photos took place the weekend after the biggest snowstorm Texas has seen in decades! There were very hard days for our community through the storm but once we were through the other side, we wanted to take advantage of the snow left on the ground.
