Fall family photo season is in full swing around the Dallas area! Mini sessions are a great way to update your family photos for holiday cards or gifts for family and friends. This year I am offering Dallas mini sessions in Coppell, Plano, Lakewood at White Rock Lake, and the Frisco area! These family photo sessions at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas were definitely some of my favorites.
To be totally honest, I was nervous to shoot at Arbor Hills! It is a super busy park, especially at sunset in the fall. With all of the Covid precautions currently in place, I wanted to be sure we could safely social distance and find the perfect spots for photos. These families are good friends of mine and I was so excited when they reached out to schedule their own date for mini sessions. Each family was scheduled back to back and the kids even got to say a quick hello in-between photos.
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve has so many location options. Sunset is the best time to visit this park for some beautiful golden hour light. I rarely stay in one spot during my sessions and for each family, we explored different areas and let the kids have some fun while I snapped away behind the camera!
