We are 1 week away from Valentine’s Day! There are some cute spots to take photos with your kids and babies around the Dallas area. I spend most of my time in the areas north of Dallas and have been to these street murals a few times! It’s fun to get out and take photos in Plano, Frisco, Coppell, and Addison. I love exploring new locations for my family photography sessions as a Plano Family Photographer. If you’re looking to adventure down in Dallas, there are a few suggestions for there also!

Photo Op Ideas from your Plano Family Photographer

• Legacy West in Plano
  5908 Headquarters Dr, Plano, TX 75024
  • Legacy West changes out their backdrop decor for every season! Right now there are pretty flowers and Valentine’s day themed setups which make for a super easy photoshoot. They usually have selfie stations set up so you can prop up your phone and get everyone in the picture! If you want to be sure someone’s head isn’t cut off just bring along your Plano Family Photographer to take the picture!
    
    

• Shops at Legacy in Plano
  5741 S Legacy Dr, Plano, TX 75024
  Kincaid Road, on the south side of Legacy Drive
  • Just across the Dallas North Tollway are the Shops at Legacy. There is a beautiful mural from Kesley Montague of Colorful Butterfly Wings which makes for a great photo backdrop. Wear pink and bring some heart sunglasses to make it more valentine’s day specific.
    
    

• Ida Claire Airstream in Addison
  5001 Belt Line Rd, Dallas, TX 75254
  • This is a super cute restaurant in Addison with an amazing patio. They have their own airstream that is fully decorated and you can snap some cute family photos while waiting for your delicious brunch. Call ahead to book the airstream for your family.

• I Love You Mural in Deep Elum (Dallas)
  2912 Elm Street, Dallas, TX
  • A classic option for valentine’s day photos if you are down around the Deep Ellum area! Try to arrive earlier in the morning before parking spaces fill up in front of the I Love You mural.
    
    

• Klyde Warren Park in Dallas
  • Klyde Warren Park is always a classic option for family photos in Dallas and there are lots of spots to explore. You can dress in cute outfits and bring a few accessories to turn it into a special shoot with your kids. I love getting some of the fountains in the background of your photos!

• Dallas Arboretum in Dallas
  • Another classic, you can never go wrong with the Dallas Arboretum no matter what time of year. I have seen a fun kissing both set up for valentine’s day or you can walk around and find good patches of pink, red, and white flowers. Don’t forget to purchase your tickets online before you head out as that is now required. A full family session always works really well at the Arboretum and as your Dallas and Plano Family Photographer, your entry is included in the photo session.
