Dallas Newborn Hospital Photos to Welcome Baby Boy Lee

You guys. First 48 hospital sessions can be completely magical. And this was nothing short of that! We couldn’t actually meet in the hospital because of visitor restrictions, but we still captured Baby Lee’s first few hours at home. I can’t even describe how special this was, but I will do my best! If you have been thinking about taking Dallas newborn hospital photos, let this be the push you need to book your session!

What is a First 48 Hospital Photo Session?

If you have never heard of a hospital session, here’s a quick rundown. As your Dallas newborn photographer, I meet you at the hospital within 48 hours of your baby’s birth. We work together to schedule around your due date and I do everything I can to be flexible! This is not the time for perfect hair and make-up or to worry about your outfit. If you have a chance, go ahead and take a shower and brush your hair. Then relax back in your hospital bed with a simple bathrobe or hospital gown.

What if my hospital won’t allow visitors?

Do not worry at all if your hospital is not allowing visitors due to Covid! I will come by your home the day after you are released. We’ll call this your “First 72” session! 🙂 Baby is still brand new and we get the same super tiny newborn photos.

If we are doing your session at home, be sure to grab these items from the hospital before you leave:

  • Swaddle or Blanket
  • Name Card
  • Baby’s Bracelet
  • Ink Foot Prints

Welcoming Baby Boy Lee

This session was magic. Hospitals are still strict on visitor policies, but I was able to join this Momma and her new baby in a quiet and private space at home without distractions and the noise of other family members. It was calm, quiet, and relaxing.

Your baby will only be this little for a few hours. They will literally never be this small and new ever again. These photos might only be for you. They might only be for your babies. But trust me on one thing – these Dallas newborn hospital photos are priceless.
