Here are my top tips to making choosing the best outfits for fall photos as stress-free as possible.

Best Outfit for Fall Photos

  1. Start Early
The earlier you can start planning, the better! You will feel less stress and leave time for last-minute things like shoes and accessories. I love ordering online and most stores will give you free shipping as long as you don’t need to rush the shipping. Save yourself a little money!

  2. Choose Mom’s Outfit First
Mom needs to feel beautiful. This is your one chance to get in front of the camera with your babies. Treat yourself and buy a new special dress for the occasion. If Mom doesn’t like the way she looks in the photos, I guarantee they will never be printed or hung up in a home. Mom is the most important for the day!

  3. Order Several Options
Remember how I mentioned I love ordering online? Order ALL the options! Several options for each family member. Hopefully, this will help you avoid making extra trips to additional stores. Usually, you can return online orders for free to the store at a later time.

  4. Coordinate Colors
Coordinate outfits – DO NOT MATCH. Please don’t put every family member in the exact same shirt. Choose 1-2 main colors and then look for shades of those colors. Don’t be afraid of patterns and strong colors but keep these to 1-2 family members. Balance out the look by including some neutrals.

  5. Put It All Together
Take all the options you have ordered and put them all together to find what you like best. You can totally choose the best outfits for fall photos for your family! Don’t forget, accessories can be a way to add extra style and fun.
